01 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing any page of sustainablecapital.in or any digital service operated by SCRF, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms of Use in full, along with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

These Terms apply to all users of SCRF's digital properties, including visitors, registered subscribers, event registrants, and any party downloading or citing SCRF publications. If you are accessing our services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

02 About SCRF and Its Services

SCRF is an independent, not-for-profit research, policy advisory, and thought leadership institution. We produce research publications, policy briefs, data reports, and commentary on carbon markets, sustainable finance, and climate policy, and we operate programs and events for professionals, governments, and institutions in this field.

SCRF also operates, or is associated with, the following institutional digital properties:

• sustainablecapital.in: SCRF's primary institutional website, subject to these Terms
• sustainablefinance.in: the website of the International Institute for Sustainable Finance (IISF), SCRF's education and credentialing arm, subject to IISF's own terms of use

These Terms apply only to sustainablecapital.in and other properties explicitly governed by SCRF.

03 Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this website is the intellectual property of the Sustainable Capital Research Foundation, unless otherwise attributed. This includes, without limitation:

• Research papers, reports, policy briefs, working papers, and annual reviews
• Data, charts, tables, and visualisations produced by SCRF or its researchers
• Methodologies, frameworks, indices, and analytical tools developed by SCRF
• Website design, layout, code, graphics, logos, and brand assets
• Text, editorial content, event descriptions, and program documentation

The SCRF name and logo, the "Sustainable Capital Research Foundation" designation, and the "IISF" and "International Institute for Sustainable Finance" names are proprietary marks of SCRF. They may not be used without prior written authorisation.

SCRF publications are published under an open access framework. Subject to the conditions in Section 4, you are permitted to read, download, and share SCRF research without charge. This open access does not constitute a waiver of SCRF's intellectual property rights.

04 Permitted Use of Content

You may access and use SCRF's publications and research outputs for the following purposes, subject to the conditions below:

• Personal reading, study, and non-commercial research
• Academic citation, with proper attribution to SCRF as the source, including the full title, year of publication, and a link to the original publication on SCRF's website
• Reproduction of short extracts (not exceeding 400 words) for purposes of commentary, criticism, or review, provided that SCRF and the specific publication are clearly credited
• Sharing links to SCRF publications on social media, professional networks, or institutional websites, provided no modification of the original is made

The following uses require prior written permission from SCRF:

• Reproduction, redistribution, or republication of substantial portions of any SCRF publication
• Inclusion of SCRF research in commercial products, subscription services, or paid content platforms
• Translation of SCRF publications into another language for distribution
• Use of SCRF data, indices, or methodologies in any commercial or institutional product or service
• Use of the SCRF name, logo, or brand identity in any external communication

05 Prohibited Conduct

When accessing SCRF's website and services, you agree not to:

• Use any content in a manner that is misleading, deceptive, defamatory, or likely to damage SCRF's reputation or the reputation of any individual or institution associated with SCRF

Nothing on this website constitutes, or should be construed as:

• Attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and in accordance with SCRF's Code of Conduct for events, which is available on request

11 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SCRF, its trustees, officers, employees, researchers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of, or inability to use, our website or any content therein
• Any reliance placed on research, data, analysis, or commentary published by SCRF
